Brian Anderson
Topics: Queensberry Inn, Luggate Flour Mill, rabbits, community and events
Brian's story is steeped in Central Otago. From his great grandfather, building the Queensberry Inn and starting the Luggate flour mill, to his father's rabbit trapping based in Cromwell and on to his own enthusiastic first rabbit catch at age 6. His Dad did the gutting, then he popped all 3 carcases into his school bag to drop at the rabbit factory in Cromwell on his way to school. Brian went on to own the first electrical business in Wanaka and was part of a local team to install the first translator on Mt Roy, for black and white TV in Wānaka. Commitment and hard work sum up his involvement in this community.
