Peter Duncan

Topics: regional development, holidays, family life

Peter remembers his holidays in Wānaka with his parents and younger brothers. He and his family spent summer and Easter holidays at their cottage in Lismore St during the 1940s and 1950s. He tells of how and why the cottage was relocated from Hāwea Flat to Lismore Street site.

Peter has vivid memories of his holidays in a very different and much smaller Wānaka.
