Jenny settled in Wānaka with husband Steve in 1975. Active in all levels of education from Playcentre, primary and area schooling, she has been a strong advocate for many social issues, including the encouragement of outdoor education and computer learning. Her interest in local history contributed to the publication of a number of books.
