Elizabeth (Lizzie) Carruthers is a Maungawera valley based artist who exhibits around Central Otago and beyond. In this interview she describes a typical working day and some of her working habits and processes. Her popular animal inspired works are comical, bright and a little bit ‘different’. She values feedback and inspiration from other artists and thinks artists are well supported in the Upper Clutha.
